In the lead up to the G7 and the Global Education Summit convened by the Global Partnership for Education, the UN Girls’ Education Initiative (UNGEI), UNICEF, UNESCO International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP-UNESCO), Sightsavers and Humanity & Inclusion joined forces to launch a two-part webinar series on inclusive education for girls with disabilities! On Tuesday (May 27, 2021), our foundation team attended Part One of the two-part webinar series on gender and disability inclusion in education. Attending webinars such as this one truly helps our foundation team build their knowledge base as we hope to become a center of excellence in the area of inclusive education for children born with Down Syndrome and other Intellectual Disabilities.
