Deborah Foundation’s 1st Monthly Parents Information Session was held on Sunday, April 25th. Our team of Doctors, Physiotherapists, Nurses, Teachers, Social workers, and Psychologists presented introductory information on the Foundations work and Down Syndrome. Informal counseling sessions were also held for our families. A family history data collection session was also set up to aid our foundation in developing the right programs for the new school and training center. Last but not least families were able to enjoy a meal sponsored by the generous donation of Leouk Fitsum from Fresh Corner. We are truly humbled by individuals like Leouk who continue to support our foundation’s mission and vision for the future of children with Down Syndrome here in Ethiopia.
