The Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ethiopian Medical Association. The MoU enables both works jointly to revitalize capacity in the area of medical support to individuals with intellectual disability and particularly to individuals diagnosed with Down Syndrome. The MoU states areas of cooperation between the two including training of medical practitioners, influencing the government for better policy and legal framework, dissemination of best practices and standardization of medical support. Honorable Mr. Abadulla Gemeda, Board Chairperson of the Foundation, and Dr. Gemechis Mamo, Chairperson of the Association, have signed the MoU on January 23 of 2020 at Ellily Hotel in Addis Ababa.
