Our foundation provided Training of Trainers (TOT) to its Health and Education Professionals on August 12, 2021. The training was based on the topics of Introduction to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and requirements for Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT). The training is meant to empower our professionals, in order to acquire the necessary knowledge and skill-set to address the needs of children and youth with intellectual disabilities. ABA Therapy aids in the development of social, communication, and learning skills through the use of positive reinforcement.
The training was conducted by a former Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) and our foundation’s current CEO, Menna Tafesse Garedew. The team underwent an assessment and upon completion received a certificate from our Board of Directors.
